Bertazzoni is a family-run Italian maker known for its ranges, ovens and cooktops — gas, dual-fuel and induction cooking built for serious kitchens. These are appliances people buy to keep, and most faults come down to a single serviceable component.
For more than six years, FiXiFY has repaired Bertazzoni ranges, wall ovens and cooktops in homes across the Denver Metro area. We work from a storefront in Denver, diagnose from Bertazzoni’s service data, and fit genuine OEM parts.

COMMON BERTAZZONI PROBLEMS — WHAT THEY REALLY MEAN
Oven — F1 / F2 over-temperature fault
You’ll notice: the oven shuts off during preheat or baking and shows F1 or F2, or the temperature overshoots badly.
What it means: per Bertazzoni’s range service data, F1 and F2 are over-temperature protections — the control read the cavity above its safe limit. The usual cause is a drifting oven temperature sensor (it should read about 1,100Ω at room temperature) or a relay on the control board sticking the element on.

Range — gas burner clicks but won’t light
You’ll notice: a burner sparks repeatedly but won’t catch, or lights then drops out.
What it means: usually a fouled or cracked spark electrode, a burner cap seated wrong or a clogged port after cleaning, or a worn spark module that fires the igniters. On sealed brass burners, spillover into the port is a common culprit.

Cooktop — induction zone cuts out or won’t power
You’ll notice: a zone heats for a moment then stops, won’t recognize a pan, or the whole cooktop is dead.
What it means: induction faults usually trace to an overheated power board (cooling fan or thermal sensor), a failed induction coil, or unsuitable cookware. A single dead zone points to that zone’s coil or board section.

Oven — won’t heat or bakes unevenly
You’ll notice: the oven stays cold, takes far too long to preheat, or cooks unevenly.
What it means: on gas models it’s often the bake igniter weakening until it no longer opens the safety gas valve; on electric models a failed bake element or a control relay. Uneven baking can also be a failed convection fan or element.
