Bunn is the standard in commercial coffee and tea — pourover and automatic coffee brewers, iced-tea brewers, hot-water dispensers and grinders found in nearly every diner, c-store and office. They keep a tank of water hot and ready, so most faults come down to the heating tank, the spray head, a valve, or scale from hard water.

For more than six years, FiXiFY has repaired commercial beverage equipment across the Denver Metro area. We work from a storefront in Denver, fit genuine OEM Bunn parts, and know a dead brewer at the morning rush costs sales — so we schedule fast.

COMMON BUNN PROBLEMS — WHAT THEY REALLY MEAN

BREW

Brewer — won’t brew or brews slowly

You’ll notice: no water reaches the basket, or the brew runs slow or short.

What it means: usually a scaled or clogged spray head, a stuck or failed brew/solenoid valve, a clogged water line, or a fill problem. Denver’s hard water scales the spray head and lines, which is the #1 cause.

HEAT

Brewer — water not hot enough

You’ll notice: coffee brews lukewarm or the ready light never comes on.

What it means: a heating-tank element, thermostat, or limit fault — the tank can’t hold the brew temperature. On some models a control or sensor issue. We test the tank circuit to find which.

OVER

Brewer — overflows or won’t stop filling

You’ll notice: the tank or basket overflows, or water keeps running.

What it means: usually a water-level probe or fill-control fault, or a stuck inlet valve, so the brewer can’t tell when the tank is full. Scale on the probe is a common cause.

GRIND

Grinder — won’t grind or grinds inconsistently

You’ll notice: the grinder won’t run, or grind size is uneven.

What it means: worn or dull burrs, a motor or switch fault, or a clogged chute. Worn burrs change the grind, which changes the coffee, so it’s worth keeping sharp.

REPAIR OR REPLACE YOUR BUNN?

With Bunn, repair is almost always the answer — commercial brewers are simple, rugged and built to be serviced for years, and most faults are an inexpensive part or a descale: a spray head, a valve, a thermostat, an element or burrs. A repair (and regular descaling) is far cheaper than a new brewer. And if a unit genuinely isn’t worth fixing, we’ll tell you straight — that’s the FiXiFY way.

BUNN REPAIR FAQ

Our Bunn brews slow or weak — is it scale?
Almost always, yes — Denver’s hard water scales the spray head and water lines, which is the #1 cause of slow or weak Bunn brewing. We descale or replace the spray head and clear the lines to restore a full, fast brew.
The coffee isn’t hot enough — can you fix the tank?
Yes — lukewarm coffee is a heating-tank issue (element, thermostat or limit). We service the tank circuit so the brewer holds proper brew temperature.
Are Bunn parts available in Denver?
We fit genuine OEM Bunn parts — common spray heads, valves, thermostats and elements are stocked for same or next-day repair, with specialty parts typically 3–5 business days.
Do you come to us?
Yes — we repair Bunn equipment on-site at your restaurant or facility across the Denver Metro area, with a shop in Denver for parts.
