Electrolux is the premium sibling of Frigidaire — Swedish-designed, built on the same proven platform, and almost always worth repairing instead of replacing. For more than six years, FiXiFY has repaired Electrolux washers, dryers, refrigerators, ranges and dishwashers in homes across the Denver Metro area. We’re based at a storefront in Denver.
Whether your Electrolux front-load washer flashes an error mid-cycle or your refrigerator has stopped cooling, we’ll diagnose the cause and get it running again — and because Electrolux shares parts with Frigidaire, repairs are usually fast.

COMMON ELECTROLUX PROBLEMS & ERROR CODES — WHAT THEY REALLY MEAN
Pulled from Electrolux/Frigidaire service documentation plus our shop’s hands-on experience — the faults customers actually run into across Electrolux washers, refrigerators, ranges and dishwashers, explained accurately. We diagnose and repair these; we don’t recommend DIY.
Washer — won’t drain
You’ll notice: the cycle stops with water in the drum and the display shows E21, and the load never spins out.
What it means: per the Electrolux/Frigidaire washer service data, E21 means the machine couldn’t pump out in time — usually a clogged drain pump or filter, a blocked or kinked drain hose, or a failing pump.
Common on Electrolux front-load washers (EFLS / EIFLS series).
→ Needs professional service — book FiXiFY.
Refrigerator — not cooling
You’ll notice: the fridge or freezer is warmer than its setting, food isn’t keeping, and the temperature climbs.
What it means: a warm Electrolux usually traces to a failed thermistor, a stalled evaporator fan, a defrost-system fault icing the coil, or a sealed-system problem — which we confirm with the brand’s diagnostics.
Common on Electrolux French-door and counter-depth refrigerators.
→ Needs professional service — book FiXiFY.
Range / oven — won’t heat
You’ll notice: the oven won’t reach temperature, takes far too long to preheat, or shows an F-code.
What it means: on Electrolux ranges, no-heat usually points to a failed bake or broil element, the oven temperature sensor reading out of range, an igniter or gas valve on gas models, or a relay on the control board.
Applies to Electrolux and ICON gas, electric and induction ranges and wall ovens.
→ Needs professional service — book FiXiFY.
Dishwasher — won’t drain
You’ll notice: the cycle ends with water standing in the bottom of the tub and dishes that aren’t clean.
What it means: on Electrolux dishwashers, water left in the tub usually points to a clogged filter or sump, a blocked drain hose, or a jammed or failing drain pump.
Common on built-in Electrolux dishwashers.
→ Needs professional service — book FiXiFY.
REPAIR OR REPLACE YOUR ELECTROLUX?
A good rule of thumb: if your Electrolux is under about eight years old and the repair costs less than half of a comparable new unit, repairing is the better value — Electrolux shares parts with Frigidaire so components are widely available, and most faults are a single part. And if your Electrolux genuinely isn’t worth fixing, we’ll tell you straight. That’s the FiXiFY way — we fix things instead of telling you to throw them away.
