Your LG appliance is built to last — and almost always worth repairing instead of replacing. For more than six years, FiXiFY has repaired LG refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges and dishwashers in homes and businesses across the Denver Metro area. We’re based at a storefront in Denver.

Whether your LG French-door refrigerator has stopped cooling, your front-load washer has thrown an error mid-cycle, or your dryer won’t heat, we’ll diagnose the cause and get it running again.

COMMON LG ERROR CODES — WHAT THEY REALLY MEAN

Pulled from LG’s own service manuals — the codes customers actually see, explained accurately. We diagnose and repair these; we don’t recommend DIY.

Er rF

Refrigerator — evaporator fan iced over

You’ll notice: a ticking or grinding noise behind the fresh-food section that quiets when you open the door.

What it means: per LG’s service bulletin, the refrigerator-side evaporator fan (the “R-fan”) is blocked by ice building up on the fan motor and coil.

Common on LFX31925ST, LFX31935ST, LMX31985ST and similar French-door models.

OE

Washer — won’t drain

You’ll notice: the cycle stops with water still sitting in the drum.

What it means: per LG’s manual, the washer couldn’t fully drain within 10 minutes — typically a clogged drain-pump filter, a blocked drain hose, or a failing drain pump.

→ Needs professional service — book FiXiFY.

UE

Washer — load imbalance

You’ll notice: it won’t spin, or keeps refilling and re-tumbling on a long cycle.

What it means: per LG, the load is bunched or too small, the machine is tilted, or items won’t distribute — and on older units, worn suspension can trigger it too.

→ Needs professional service — book FiXiFY.

IE

Washer — water inlet error (shows as 1E)

You’ll notice: it won’t fill, or fills slowly and stops early in the cycle.

What it means: per LG, the set water level wasn’t reached in time — low water pressure, supply valves not fully open, clogged inlet screens, or a faulty inlet valve.

→ Needs professional service — book FiXiFY.

REPAIR OR REPLACE YOUR LG?

A good rule of thumb: if your LG is under about eight years old and the repair costs less than half of a comparable new unit, repairing is the better value — LG parts are widely available and most faults are mechanical, not terminal. And if your LG genuinely isn’t worth saving, we’ll tell you straight. That’s the FiXiFY way — we fix things instead of telling you to throw them away.
