Samsung gas and electric ranges and ovens — bake/broil element failures, ignition trouble and temperature drift.

COMMON SAMSUNG ERROR CODES — WHAT THEY REALLY MEAN
Pulled from Samsung’s own service manuals — the codes customers actually see, explained accurately. We diagnose and repair these; we don’t recommend DIY.
Washer — won’t fill (water supply)
You’ll notice: the washer won’t start filling, or stops early with little or no water.
What it means: per Samsung’s manual, water isn’t reaching the inlet valve — usually a closed or low-pressure supply tap, a kinked or clogged fill hose, or (4C2/4E2) the hot and cold hoses reversed.
→ Needs professional service — book FiXiFY.
Washer — won’t drain
You’ll notice: the cycle stops with water still sitting in the drum.
What it means: per Samsung’s manual, the washer can’t drain — typically a clogged drain hose or pump filter, a damaged pump impeller, or debris such as coins or hairpins caught in the drain pump.
→ Needs professional service — book FiXiFY.
Washer — load imbalance
You’ll notice: it won’t spin up, or keeps refilling and redistributing the load.
What it means: per Samsung, the load is unbalanced — bunched to one side, too small, or the machine isn’t level. If it keeps returning on balanced loads, the suspension or sensor needs service.
→ Needs professional service — book FiXiFY.
Washer — too many suds
You’ll notice: cycles run long and “Sud” appears while the washer pauses to clear foam.
What it means: per Samsung, too much foam was detected — usually too much detergent or non-HE detergent. It’s a protective mode; if it shows with the correct HE detergent, the drain or sensor may need a look.
→ Needs professional service — book FiXiFY.
REPAIR OR REPLACE YOUR SAMSUNG?
A good rule of thumb: if your Samsung is under about eight years old and the repair costs less than half of a comparable new unit, repairing is the better value — Samsung parts are widely available and most faults are mechanical or electronic, not terminal. And if your Samsung genuinely isn’t worth saving, we’ll tell you straight. That’s the FiXiFY way — we fix things instead of telling you to throw them away.
