Same or next-day scheduling
True is the workhorse of American commercial refrigeration — reach-in refrigerators and freezers, sandwich and pizza prep tables, undercounters and glass-door merchandisers found in nearly every restaurant and convenience store. They’re built around serviceable, mostly mechanical refrigeration, so most faults come down to airflow, the condenser, or a single component.
For more than six years, FiXiFY has repaired commercial refrigeration across the Denver Metro area. We work from a storefront in Denver, fit genuine OEM True parts, and know a case of warm product is an emergency — so we schedule commercial refrigeration fast.

COMMON TRUE PROBLEMS — WHAT THEY REALLY MEAN
Refrigerator — not holding temperature
You’ll notice: the box runs warm, or the digital controller (on newer units) reads high.
What it means: the most common cause by far is a dirty condenser coil starving the system of airflow; after that, a failing condenser or evaporator fan motor, low refrigerant from a leak, or worn door gaskets. A quick condenser cleaning fixes a surprising number of these.

Freezer — heavy frost or won’t defrost
You’ll notice: ice builds on the coil or back wall and cooling drops off.
What it means: on a True freezer this points to the defrost circuit — a failed defrost heater, defrost thermostat or control — or a door not sealing, letting in humid air. Left alone the iced coil chokes airflow and the box warms.

Prep table — warm pan rail
You’ll notice: food pans in the top rail get warm while the base cabinet stays cold.
What it means: prep-table rails warm up from a blocked or dirty condenser, a weak evaporator fan, low refrigerant, or pans left out of place breaking the cold-air pattern. Food-safety-critical, so it’s worth fixing fast.

Reach-in — sweating, icing or hard-to-open doors
You’ll notice: doors sweat, frost around the frame, or seal so hard they’re tough to open.
What it means: usually worn or torn door gaskets, a failed anti-sweat door heater, or a hinge out of adjustment. Bad gaskets also overwork the compressor and drive up the warm-box calls above.

REPAIR OR REPLACE YOUR TRUE?
With True, repair is almost always the answer — a commercial reach-in or prep table is a multi-thousand-dollar box built to be serviced, and the most common fix (a condenser cleaning or a fan motor) is inexpensive. Even a compressor or sealed-system repair usually beats replacing the whole unit. And if a box genuinely isn’t worth fixing, we’ll tell you straight — that’s the FiXiFY way.
