Wolf is professional cooking equipment built to be serviced for decades — at Wolf prices, repair is almost always the smart call. For more than six years, FiXiFY has repaired Wolf wall ovens, ranges, cooktops and rangetops in homes across the Denver Metro area. We’re based at a storefront in Denver and we work from Wolf’s own service documentation.
Whether a Wolf dual-fuel oven won’t heat, a sealed burner won’t light, or an induction zone won’t recognise a pan, we’ll diagnose the cause and get it cooking again. Wolf and Sub-Zero are sisters under the same parent — we service both.

COMMON WOLF PROBLEMS — WHAT THEY REALLY MEAN
Pulled from Wolf’s own service manuals plus our shop’s hands-on experience — the faults customers actually run into across Wolf wall ovens, ranges, cooktops and microwaves, explained accurately. We diagnose and repair these; we don’t recommend DIY on professional cooking equipment.
Wall oven — won’t heat / wrong temperature
You’ll notice: the oven won’t reach temperature, takes far too long to preheat, or the display shows an error indicator.
What it means: per Wolf’s wall-oven service manual, no-heat or bad temperature usually traces to a failed bake or broil element, the oven temperature sensor (RTD) reading out of range, or a fault on the oven relay board that switches the elements — all of which we test against Wolf’s documented resistance values.
Common on Wolf E-series and M-series electric wall ovens (DO / SO series).

Range — burner won’t light / oven won’t ignite
You’ll notice: a sealed burner clicks but won’t light, or the oven on a dual-fuel range won’t come up to heat.
What it means: on Wolf ranges this is usually a fouled or cracked spark electrode, a worn igniter switch, a clogged burner port, or — on the oven side — a weak igniter or bake element and the ignition module that drives it.
Common on Wolf dual-fuel and all-gas ranges (DF / GR series).
→ Needs professional service — book FiXiFY.
Cooktop — won’t spark / induction won’t detect
You’ll notice: a gas burner keeps clicking without lighting, or an induction zone flashes and won’t recognise the pan.
What it means: on gas Wolf cooktops it’s usually the spark electrode, igniter switch or a clogged port; on induction it’s a faulty induction coil, the pan-detect sensor, or the control board for that zone.
Common on Wolf gas, induction and electric cooktops and rangetops (CG / CI / CT series).
→ Needs professional service — book FiXiFY.
Microwave — runs but won’t heat
You’ll notice: the Wolf microwave drawer or convection microwave runs and the plate turns, but the food doesn’t get hot.
What it means: no-heat on a microwave is usually a failed magnetron, a high-voltage diode or capacitor, or a blown thermal fuse — high-voltage parts that hold a dangerous charge and must be discharged and tested by a technician.
Common on Wolf microwave drawers and convection microwaves.
→ Needs professional service — book FiXiFY.
REPAIR OR REPLACE YOUR WOLF?
With Wolf, repair is almost always the answer — a new Wolf range or wall oven runs well into the thousands, while most faults are a single component (an igniter, an element, a control board). These are professional machines engineered to be serviced. And if a Wolf genuinely isn’t worth fixing, we’ll tell you straight. That’s the FiXiFY way — we fix things instead of telling you to throw them away.
